I just upgraded my home network to include a Wireless-G router. Now I can sit on the couch watching TV while I work on my laptop. I’ve only had it working for an hour and I’m already wondering how I managed to survive without a wireless network…

I decided it was time for an employment change. I was lucky enough to find the perfect job with the Information Network of Arkansas. INA maintains the internet portal for the state of Arkansas (www.arkansas.gov). They work mostly in PHP, which happens to be my language of choice. I’m going to miss the folks at HSB, but I believe this to be a great career move. I start my new job April 25.
The next two weeks will be very busy as I transistion my workload to other staff members. It’s kind of funny — they are hiring two people to replace me!! They are hiring 1 full time programmer, plus they are hiring a contract programmer for all of the web development I’ve done!
I’m having an all day training session with the contract programmer next Friday.
