Jamie’s pregnant again!
We told our family the good news on Thanksgiving day and everybody is very excited!
According to one of those online pregnancy calendars, we are due July 23! Our first appointment with the ob/gyn is next monday.
When we got pregnant with Rachel, I started a baby blog. I archived that blog after Rachel was born, but I guess it’s time to start a new one!

I spent the last week in Kansas City at my company’s tech conference. Lots of folks were talking about Ruby On Rails, which is a (fairly) new framework for the ruby programming language.
All of the talk about rails inspired me, so I went down to Barnes and Nobel yesterday to buy “Agile Web Development with Rails” by Dave Thomas and David Heinemeier Hansson. This is the best technical book I’ve ever read! It’s part tutorial and part detailed guide. I’m only about 1/4 of the way thru the book, but I’m really liking what I see!
Maybe I’ll be re-writing parts of this site in rails soon. Stay tuned!
