15 Weeks Pregnant
We went to the baby doctor for our 15 week checkup today, and I was able to record the baby’s heartbeat!

A Child’s Prayer
Rachel and I have a nightly bedtime ritual. I rock her for awhile, read a story if she wants, and maybe she’ll sing me a song. Then, we’ll say a bedtime prayer, I’ll carry her down the hall to her bedroom and put her in bed. It’s at this point where she tries everything the can think of to stay up a few more minutes. Our conversations usually go like this:

11 Weeks Pregnant
We went to the baby doctor today for our 11 week checkup. We were supposed to hear the baby’s heartbeat today, so I brought my MP3 recorder, but we couldn’t hear it. Doc says it’s a little early to hear the heartbeat, and if we had waited another week, we could have heard it.
