Josh Moody

After months of anxious anticipation, she’s finally here. Rachel Abigail Moody was born August 27, 2003. She weighs 7 lbs 2 oz. and is 19 inches long. She’s beautiful, just like her mother!

Our church had a baby shower for us today, and we got lots more cool stuff. The nursery is just about ready, now all it needs is the baby!

We went to a child birth class at the hospital today. We watched some videos (Scary!) and got a lot of good information. We also toured the Labor & Delivery section of the hospital. The birthing rooms are really nice, complete with a CD Player and hard wood floors!

We had another ultrasound today… The doctor tells us the baby weighs about 3 lbs, 9 ounces and it still looks like we are having a girl! That’s a good thing, because I’ve been planning on painting the nursery lavender this weekend!

The teachers gave Jamie a baby shower at school today. We got lots of cool stuff. Click on the “Pictures” link above to see pictures from the party.

We had another visit with the baby doctor today and everything is going great. Jamie has finally started to look like a pregnant woman! It seems like she’s started looking pregnant over-night! I love it!

The baby is kicking a lot now. Once in a while I can feel her. Sometimes, we can even see her kicking!

We had our 20 week ultrasound today, and It’s A Girl!!!

We had appointment #4 with the baby doctor today. This time I recorded the baby’s heartbeat!

Jamie had appointment #3 with her OB/GYN. We got to hear the baby’s heartbeat again. 160 beats/minute!

Jamie had appointment #2 with her OB/GYN. Today we got to hear the baby’s heartbeat. This is amazing! There’s a little person growing inside my wife’s tummy!
